Resolutions...

I still can’t quite believe that its 2016! It’s so crazy, time really is zooming by. I’m usually not into the whole “new year, new me” cliché or making New Year’s resolutions, however this year that seems to have changed. So I thought I’d share mine with you and leave me a comment if you have similar ones, if not what are yours?

New Year, New Blog!

So where do I begin here? Last year I started my blog and was so excited and eager to get all my thoughts written down and out there and to talk and meet likewise people who had a passion for all things beauty related. Then I had a really shitty time and lost my love for almost everything even when I was putting up a front I knew that I’d lost my mojo. So my blog sort of dribbled out and then ran dry. Well New Year, New Blog! I’ve got my motivation back and want to get stuck back into writing and taking photos and learning along the way all things html and everything that comes with this territory.

My goal for my blog this year is to get into a blogging routine, and upload consistently. I think it may take a few weeks to iron out the kinks, as I need to find the right balance with how much I can physically get quality content out there and working full time. Right now I think I’m planning 3 times a week, but that might change to one more or one less. I’ve got a good feeling about this year so now I’m just excited to get started.  So hello to the people the read this little space last year and are back again and hello to you new ones too! 

Amsterdam Haul

Another Amsterdam post today and it's a beauty haul! While we didn't go to Amsterdam to shop, we just couldn't resist when we were there, and when we stumbled upon Douglas, a shop which was solely beauty, fragrance and skincare, there was no holding back. So I did have a little, no massive splurge, but it was so worth it.

Amsterdam 2015

So last week I went on a trip to Amsterdam with my friend Georgie and we had the best time. We had incredible food, amazing weather and many, many laughs. I thought I'd share a few photos here on my blog of our time there. If anyone is thinking of going to Amsterdam, I highly recommend it!

Life Update

As you are aware, I haven't posted on here for a while so I think a little life update is needed as to explain my disappearance. I didn't think I'd be saying this so early in my life but my Nannan passed away a few weeks ago. My heads been all over the place and I've just been spending time with my family and with my nan in hospital before she passed. This past month has been the most bizarre of my entire life. Up until 4 weeks ago, my nan was still working and life was completely normal, this whole ordeal has come as a massive shock.

I don't want this post to be a very long one or a very sad one, because as my nan used to say, nobody wants to hear it. My blog is my little place of fun, trying new products, different make up looks and talking with all other beauty enthusiasts. I just wanted to give you a little explanation of why my blog has been so quiet recently. Things are slowly sinking and in and as a family we're trying to get back to some sort normality and I thought it was time to start blogging again. I know my nan would be furious if I kept myself to myself in the depressed little bubble I've been in the past couple of weeks, so I need to start living again.
